The Othuum can also destroy a Harbinger Mark IV in a one-on-one fight, for the same price, but only if the Othuum is facing the enemy directly so that both Aire-au Bolters, the real power of the unit, can engage. Costing about as much as two Titans or Loyalists, one of these can face two Titans or two Loyalists at the same time and expect to win the battle. ![]() The Othuum is probably the most cost-effective T3 direct-fire land unit in the game, making it godlike for heavy assaults. It is, however, expensive and vulnerable to torpedo attack while under water. It is a powerful unit useful for linebreaking, especially when accompanied by Athanah T3 mobile shield generators, and makes an excellent companion unit for the Ythotha. While on the surface, the Othuum uses its Thau Cannon and dual Aire-au Bolters, which give it an impressive 400 DPS against ground units. It is equipped with Uall Cavitation Torpedo Launcher when it is under water, but like most secondary torpedo systems, this is almost completely ineffective. It is amphibious so it has the ability to travel on the sea floor. ![]() The Othuum is a heavy assault unit, falling somewhere between the armored assault bots (the UEF Percival and Cybran Brick) and the siege assault bots (the Titan and Loyalist).
